Hertford Branch Report: The Old Contemptible – No. 364, May 1964

The Old Contemptible – No. 364, May 1964

HERTFORD           Another A.G. meeting has gone, leaving the same officers as before, which saves stationery expenses, and says Chums are content with their officers. Looking back over the last year, we lost 4 Chums who passed over. Attendances at our meetings over the year averaged over 25% which, considering Anno Domini, weather appears quite good. Our Treasurer keeps a healthy balance sheet and “chases the shekels” despite his 80 years. He is also our Conference delegate. We are also indebted to our Area delegate who gets to all the meetings under his own steam and keeps us up to date in a very scattered Area. Bookings for the Jubilee celebrations in June are good, where we hope to renew old acquaintances. Here’s wishing Chums everywhere good health, good luck, God Speed. Don’t weaken, there’s not many of us left.

BUSTER.
