Derby Branch Report: The Old Contemptible – No. 377, June 1965

The Old Contemptible – No. 377, June 1965

DERBY        We held our annual meeting in March to a good attendance. All the Officers were re-elected for another year. The Branch lost one Chum during the year, but we had one rejoin so our strength is back to 23; also one of our Chums went into a British Legion Home at Ripon.

The health of the Branch is very good at the moment, only one Chum under the weather. We are holding our annual church parade on August the 8th, at 6.30 p.m.

At the general meeting in April the Branch had another good attendance, one of our Patrons (Mrs E. L. Hoult) was visiting this country from Canada and attended the meeting.

We are hoping to meet some of the Chums of other Branches at Worcester. Good luck and good health to all Chums.

H. BLAKE.
