Chelmsford Branch Report: The Old Contemptible – No. 436, May 1970

The Old Contemptible – No. 436, May 1970

CHELMSFORD      Have not sent anything to the magazine because we have not had any meetings. The first for 1970 took place on the 5th March. Owing to ill-health I was not able to attend, but some of our hardy Chums and one Patron, and our Chairman made a 22 mile journey to be there.

One wonders how long we can carry on, as our members get fewer each year. Still like old soldiers we look on the bright side, and keep smiling. Roll on the better weather then Chum Bass from Hemel Hempstead can get out of the armchair, and get going on some ground work. What about it Arthur.

Best wishes to all Chums from Chelmsford.
