The Old Contemptible – No. 208, May 1951
CHISLEHURST. The Branch held their first meeting at their new Branch H.Q., “The Gordon Arms” on March 4th, with a rather better attendance than usual, but we are hoping that our more comfortable room will attract some of our Chums who have missed the meetings for some time. Decision was taken to hold a members’ draw this year in an effort to swell our diminished funds, so it is up to you Chums, to use all your persuasive powers to coax the nimble sixpences! We are looking forward to renewing old friendships this year at the Area Rally at Folkestone. Best regards to all Chums.
